If you could have your own man cave...a private space where no one else is allowed except by invitation... what would it look like? Sports oriented, music oriented, a work space, a bar?

Mine would be sexual. A large screen TV running non stop porn movies, a selection of body oils and wank lotions, a comfortable recliner next to a stack of my old favorite porn mags. Walls covered with fold outs and posters of hot naked women, lesbians and hard dripping cocks. A drawer full of sex toys. A private entrance so visitors could come and go in secrecy. A refrigerator full of beer and a well stocked bar. A bed for sex.

Stone walls and thermal mass fireplace. Wood floor with a rug. South window. Cedar shake roof. Bookshelves, desk or table, chair, bed, and some basic food prep/storage, as in a dorm or hunting cabin. The shower space is outside, since I would wash my bike there. The road to it is a bike/hike path.

My garage. One wall is shelved with books twenty-five feet long and six feet high. A workbench with an attached vice. An N gauge model railway perched on a fridge (for beer) and a kitchen unit full of gardening tools. A heavy-duty metal shelving rack of tools, nuts bolts, screws etc. Stacks of boxes (more books, stationery, odds and ends). A carpet on the floor. Double glazed windows. Electric heating. Overhead strip lighting. An armchair and plastic chairs for visitors.

booze and beer shop with armchairs and a good sound system. And a library

I once had a cabin, a shack, really, that had no electricity or running water. It had a woodstove, oil lamps, no neighbors for miles, and was at the end of a road that was barely passable. It was a good place to reboot my brain.

I have one. It looks like a cave with all the modern conveniences. Lights, heat, bathroom, cable, internet, bed, couch, tables, desk, and chairs. All the comforts of home. Wait it is my home.

Same here. 75" telly, 7.2.2 surround sound. Turntable and cd player through an Onkyo amp into big ass Wharfedales. PC at the end of the comfortable couch.
You got me beat by 10" and 2.1.2 sounds
I also have my desktop and lappy set up in the breakfast nook which allows me to see everything.

I bought a second hand Denon AV receiver and everything apart from the turntable and cd goes through it, PC, TV, Xbox and MP3 player.

I use a NAS and Plex for flicks and music through the Sheild or Apple 4kTV but I mostly listen to music through the Plex app on the Desktop and (2) H/K Bluetooths. They sound great even in different rooms and the sync is surprisingly on point.

I want an actual cave. Nothing so fancy as the Bat cave, but a step up from some Flintstone shit. I want to own it outright. I think this is the kind of dwelling that will need little to no maintenance, leaving me to my madcap schemes.

You might need a ladder.

She has the rest of the house. And, most of the garages. She can stay out of my shop.
He has the garage. I have the rest of the house. He also really doesn’t care about the color of throw pillows or blankets.

Just build me a cave of books and cut out the middle man!

Wait but then I'd have to worry a thousand fold over about a potential "cave" fire.
