I see this happening in the United States (most Europeans are not that bizarre), the Midwest or the South, in the mid-1960's. There is a generational issue here. If she is in her early twenties, then she is more in tune with the changes in sexual mores at the time. If he is in his forties, he was born in the 1920's, a different era.
