If you build it, they will come.

I love it. Your poems and your voice. The artist within me appreciates your eagle picture as well.

I am in awe...I just saw the whole thread. I am in awe of how developed your talent is.

Are you of the Native American heritage? I love this whole thread. You exude creativity. There is no way your creativity can stay hidden.

Not only are things created on my homestead but grown as well. The corn is Meerschaum Pipe and White Lighting Corn. In the photo, the corn is fourteen and a half feet tall, but topped out at nineteen feet nine inches by the end of the summer.

okay I'm jealous! I want tall corn like this!

After having looked back on all of this. I am so impressed and so happy you have shared all of this. All things I knew very little about you. So this makes me happy. I love the drawings and the poems and the lovely voice that read them. The pictures are so vivid and lovely. (well except that last bug that looks like his mission in life is to blow up on you and leave yellow goo on you )

Subscribing ;)

You're welcome for the help. 💋

I still have a guitar upstairs from when I was in elementary school. At that point the only way that you could get out of class was if you played an instrument. I decided that I would try to learn how to play this guitar. I never did succeed. I did do a paired pic with it some years ago. 😂

I started out on piano, switched to drums, picked up the banjo, then guitar and bass, now mandolin. Chicks dig drummers. .........or so I was told.:)
I remember your pair guitar photo.🌹😘

Hey chicks dig pianists too! :D .... *giggles
Great thread you have here! Every photo is wonderful and tells a sweet story. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I'm going to mark this and come back to it soon. Some of my best friends are here!

Not for nothing....just a thought about this thread...

If you wear it, they will cum...

Maybe that's a new thread title...:cattail:

My smile returned as I looked through your thread again. It definitely is a sight to relax in and leave the stress behind.

No, your thread never died but I frequently look for new additions.

This titled "Apocolyptic Structure" It is life as I see it, rather chaotic, scary yet whimsical.

This caught my eye immediately. It struck me as a retelling of a time when sexuality was embraced and yet rejected, death was an ever-present tragedy, and power was shifting.

Pointillism. This is a piece that I have not finished, a piece started back 20 years ago and unsigned. Sometimes you find someone that gets you, enjoys you and finds a way into your heart. When they leave, you do almost anything to get the pain out, you can't. Once they enter into your heart, they are in your blood. As with pointillism, these are all dots and no straight lines.

I haven't looked at my subscribed threads in a long time.. But damn. This is deep. Beautiful, and deep.

My drive to work on an Autumn day. The view is beautiful, don't you agree?

The same neck of the woods as the photo above, just colder.

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
BY ROBERT FROST

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

These! This looks almost identical to the canopy of tress on the road I live on. I also have a well.. let's just say I'm very acquainted with that poem. You are very, very talented. I haven't gotten through the whole thread yet, but the Native American pieces remind me of the ones I inherited. My uncle made them and my mom beaded her own buckskin top. It's quite heavy.

i liked Your pic - had to play with :)

The morning view overlooking my pasture. The railroad lies just under the horizontal haze. Trees are sycamore, maple, walnut, oak and locust. The fields beyond the trees will be soybean this year. It's a grand view, don't you think?

Just saw this girl running in front of Your pic :)

Hello haha! I always remember your good nature and how fun you were to post with. My tastes for art here lean towards the macabre or off-kilter, stuff which makes your insides feel a bit gooey. I’m not your target audience, but you were always sweet so I’ll come by to visit. Even if it’s not my taste, I can definitely appreciate the artist.

Good to see you!

Incredible!

Absolutely exquisite work. So much patience and such a keen eye for detail!

I had not heard of pointillism style, until I saw this lion and cub artwork! Beautifully crafted.
:)

After twenty-two years absent from drawing basically in any format, I was asked to draw something that represented an individual and myself. For us, lions were the obvious choice. Here is a lion and little lion drawn in the pointillism style, no straight lines only dots. There are thousands upon thousands of dots in the dark areas alone.

A little quibble— "pointillism" is the use of small color dots, eg. Georges Seurat and "Stippling" is black and white, use of dots.
Very similar in concept/technique, tho' pointillism has additional challenges for optical blending of colors and values . *steps off that soapbox *

Well done stippling! :)

Morning Haha. I have a mug with Sunday Afternoon on the Island of Grand Jatte. It’s one of my favorites and to think that you’ve done something similar is amazing!

Happy hump day.
