If scientists created an artificial meat from vegetables that tasted like human flesh

This is a tough one

Are they simulating free grazing open range people or grain fed pasture people?

Hobos or pencil pushers? Your choice. The simulated free range hobo is fed mostly alcohol (just like Kobe beef), so it costs more.

I was thinking more along the lines of organic diet, exercised people meat vs average people meat, in which case I'd go with option a cos I like my meat to taste like meat, not a lump of slightly sweet too fatty chunks.

Exercised people might be too lean, though. I like my man marbling.

You're thinking beef. People are closer to porkish. I like my pork free range, so my artificial people meat (let's call it 'I can't believe it's not human' ) would need to be similarly free range tasting.

I don't know, it seems like healthy types would be gamey.

And for the record, it's called "Reverse Soylent".

I like my meat a little gamey.

Maybe they'll have to simulate both kinds to appeal across a wider market.

Meh, don't like real veal, fake human veal wouldn't do it for me either.

Guess there'd be new dinner table fights over the old leg/thigh/breast argument.

Let's not even open the light meat vs dark meat can...

Mega chain supermarkets would probably start substituting fake people meat with the real thing once they realised how expensive the faux stuff was.

I don't think that the FDA would ever clear it stateside. Restaurants have to jump through hoops to serve something as innocuous as breastmilk iced cream.

I have eaten hufu, so I'd probably try it. It's the genetic similarities that cause the crazy.

Though I'm 99% certain that it was a joke product that was just pork-flavored tofu meat stuff.

Be easier to just kill and eat a vegan. They all deserve to die anyway.

The only exception to my veganism is Chicago-style pizza eaters. Naturally, they would have to be fed only soymilk for several weeks prior to slaughter, in order to cleanse their system of any pizza they may have eaten recently.
