To all those blaming the Republicans.

How come on a party line vote in the Seante, the Dems refuse to go through the healthcare exchanges but are keeping the Obama approved (but not part of the law) exemption for cadillac plans?

Why would Congress be going through the exchanges in the first place? I haven't heard any of the 1% complaining about this law effecting them so I don't get what this complaint is about.

Why did HHS finalize over 1200 waivers for Obamacare?

If Obamacare is great, why would any entity want to be exempt from its strictures?

Because that's not how reality works. There are lots of reason why someone might want a waiver. They might not know how it applies to their business for example. I'm not worried about it but if you are you should start researching who got waivers and why. Maybe it is a problem.

I refuse to go through the exchanges, too. I am keeping my employer's coverage, same as them.

Obama supporters

It's the less intelligent company owners who can't figure out how to change their benefit plans in time. Ironically, they also vote Republican.

That's WEAK, NIGGER

The 1% don't get their insurance premiums SUBSIZIZED by the TAXPAYER

THATS WHY

In your zeal to DEFEND the NIGGER, you have NIGGERIZED

yourself

To answer the OP, they opt out and give themselves exemptions because they believe they are better than all others. They know this is a train wreck and feel they deserve better.

They should be REQUIRED to be the very first people signing up. Do as I say, not as I do. If they had any desire to represent this country and not their own political agenda, drive for power, striving for more money, then they would be celebrating this massive change and solution the healthcare.

Instead, they run from it! I hope this whole thing implodes and falls apart!!!

WHY WOULD THEY SIGN UP?! They are the 1% this doesn't effect them in anyway shape or form!

Yes but you and your employer have a agreement there and a third party is not paying for your healthcare.

Here the taxpayers are paying for a special healthcare program for other people who can afford it on their inflated salaries.

Excuse me?

My employer and I have an insurance agreement and a third party (the insurance company) is most definitely paying my healthcare bills.

You might want to reassess your derp.

That says it all.

The people who wrote the law know Obamacare sucks and they want nothing to do with it. What other evidence does someone need that it's going to be a total mess?

It's not perfect, not by a long shot. It's not single payer.

It is, however, light years better than the existing system (remember hard-cap lifetime limits on insurance? Pre-existing conditions ring a bell?

You're right... Romney is a dick.

Shut the fuck up, Donny.

Why can't anybody explain why Congress would have ever thought of signing up for Obamacare?

You like Obamaphiles miss the point. You and your employer agree to this as part of your employment

I or another tax payer does not pay for it.

Romney was superior to Obama except in conning the dumb Obama voters and playing basketball.

He actualy earned his forture and never had a non working job like Barack and Michelle did through most of their post graduate lives

How do you figure that???

The more money an employer has to pay for it's employees mooching free or subsidized health care, is the more money that companies products cost- therefore everyone buying that product pays for your health care.

Be a man and pay for your own!

Although, you type like you are 80, so I suspect you are on a socialist government program.

Furthermore, the costs an employer pays for employee health care are deducted from the gross earnings of the company. Which means the tax payers ARE subsidizing you.

Okay, let's take this to it's logical conclusion.

I can afford health insurance for my family. I'm not Sufisaint, willing to put my family's health at risk to make a political point. I'm not Julybaby04 or VatAss, unwilling to cover my children because vacations to Disney World and/or horse camp for my daughter is a higher priority.

Are you saying that families that cannot afford health insurance should do without medical care?
