If I could read your mind

Charcoal, my favorite. Do you watercolor? I find it the most challenging, and most unforgiving too.

I don't watercolour for the very reasons you outlined... I'm an abstract artist.. I find I can't be bold or strong enough with watercolours, and I have no patience for such intricacy

I certainly understand what you mean. You have to work fast, too with watercolor. I usually think slower and contemplate what I want to do and what I want to change. Hard to do with watercolors.

well, my mind tends to be partitioned in many facets. only because I have a tendency to want to keep certain things special to me in the foreground of my mind. That is where I am when not thinking about problems at work.

For instance, right now I am thinking of a very very special lady who is a long ways away from me physically. not in my heart though. She is near and dear next to me in my heart.

And she knows it too, doll. ~smile~

If you could read my mind you would be witness to all the ideas that run through it constantly. The pleasure I take in watching my children fills my thoughts all day. The lyrics that haunt my dreams...including the man who visits there regularly.

You wouldn't want to read my mind, you'd be bored to tears. Happy to try, though....

<image of homemade bean and barley burrito with homemade salsa on homemade chapati> mmmmmm....glucose? whatever...slows the sugar to the bloodstream better than sugar <stretch my pecs> damm sister is wrong, don't need yoga...<image of more muscular me a year from now>...reward myself with some good art....$10 per workout? local artist says my friend <censored for privacy> not horny....left change at home, hah! outsmart cravings, just bored anyways...post on literotica, maybe some fun writing...read philosophy...<flashback memory of conversation with friend at coffeeshop, his face, good latte>...finished "The Shadow of the Torturer"...search for next book on web <image of search engine>...that ballet will be great in Dec...need a date...one of <censored> friends, maybe...her roommate <censored> is hot...<image of a woman standing in a cramped kitchen in nice clothes>...etc

It's more often than not going to be one of two defaults to which my mind drifts when it's idle. First my babies far away and how much their Dad loves them. Second, music - either something I'm rehearsing or some new idea I may have had for a song.

How lucky your kids are to have a dad who loves them so much. Sorry about the distance.

What instrument do you play? I love Jazz, especially Boney James. I saw him in an outdoor concert last April.... It was great!

My thoughts are fluid like heavy syrup

I think of all I have, and all you have not. I think of all I have yet to do, and all I have accomplished. I see the bright firey colors of the cool autumn days, as the leaves fall like feathers to the ground painting my footprints on the cool lush blades of the grass.
I see the blue of the sky in my eyes, I miss a warm embrace from having someone snuggle beside you. I feel the cool winds of the night taunt my skin with their tepid willowy fingers, as I draw the covers more tightly under my chin.
I think of laughter, of my friends, of those I have lost but not forgotten. I think of memories, of cold december mornings, of running to the school bus, and forgetting my homework on the table.
I think of the faint sounds of my heartbeat, the mellow sounds of a familar songs from long ago. I think of all these things and more as I drift off to sleep each even.....with happy children's laughter echoing in the distance.....
