I think most often about my kids, both in college and away from me. Second to that, my job and my staff, at least during the day time.

I would not call that useless at all. Music is a big part of my life too.

Knowing my wife does not have the patience it takes to be a stay at home parent (she will be the first to admit to that) I felt it was wrong to ship them off to a babysitter when not in school. I am not knocking any parent that does this, I simply felt to guilty in my case given the fact I can afford not to send them.

Mostly I think that if people actually knew the real life me AND they could read my mind they would mainly be thinking that the two just don't match up at all.

Charcoal, my favorite. Do you watercolor? I find it the most challenging, and most unforgiving too.
