Who would become whose bitch?

I saw a little one-page article in a Men's magazine last weekend interviewing a bisexual woman who had just been released from prison. Granted the questions and answers were designed to titillate, but that doesn’t mean its all lies. She mentioned something about women passing other women subs around like cigarettes or something. And some other good stuff. ;)
I guess heterosexual men are not the only ones guilty of becoming "gay for he stay" when incarcerated for long periods of time without contact with the opposite sex.

Do you think you become a sub or a domme?

Most sexual abuse in female prisons are done by the male guards, but not all of it.

There was this one former escort, very pretty, she narced on some other women there for having/selling drugs so when they found out they caught her and shoved a toilet plunger up her ass (the wooden handle side of course). I don't remember where I read that, just that it was a real life circumstance of a sexual assault on another woman in prison.

Also, those killings down in Mexico where like 200 young women were killed. I was watching a documentary on it on channel-11 or something and one of the women they brought in for questioning that had seen the suspect was taken into the washroom by a female guard who asked her to strip and bend over before she started to cry and refused to go farther then that.

BWHAHAHAHA!

Er, I mean, don't worry sexy-girl. I'll protect you.

Don't you think everyone would talk? Lots of little groups with different topics. Rotating through.

Jump on each other for opinions and sex.

Not a bad all expense paid vacation. :)

Sex Roles In Prison

An excerpt from the article:

It has been clearly stated by many of the women who form relationships with other women while in prison, that they entered prison as heterosexuals. Indeed, the "true blood" lesbian in prison appears to cling to the fringes of the inmate society which parrots the heterosexual society in the free world. In prison, inmates take on roles such as "stud broad" and "Bitch" or "femme". This would be the equivalent of husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend.

A woman who chooses the stud role does so certainly not because she identifies with, or really loves other women, but rather because she identifies with male power over a woman. In fact, many of these women are mysogonistic and expletive of the privilege of their position. I have wondered if the stud wants to pass as such as a way of recasting herself from powerless to powerful.

The "femme" or "Bitch" might be considered as more feminine in her behaviors and attitudes. She ascribes to the role of a heterosexual model of behavior for women in patriarchy. She caters to her stud, is often jealous of other women and takes her place in the background. She is even proud to "belong" to someone else. She does not identify with nor does she love other women.

As a warder I reserve the right to film all activities for security purposes.

I'd be a sub!

Some woman would be my momma! Seriously, that would be all right. :) I'm a subbie anyway!

Most female prisoners turn to homosexuality to reduce feeling heterosexual needs, according to the Encyclopedia of Women and Crimes.

"Homosexual relationships among female long-term inmates emphasize the satisfaction of emotional needs in addition to the desire for sexual release," Morash explained. "Most female inmates do not consider themselves lesbian, but turn to other women because men are unavailable to fulfill their emotional and physical needs. This can lead to confusion and anxiety when they return to the outside world where men are available to them."

Donaldson agreed that "deprivation of heterosexual relationships has a profound impact on both male and female inmates. Homosexual relations are the only means for participatory sex in prison, and many, female inmates in particular, undergo changes in identity and self perception."

Prison Women

Femme or Mommy plays the female role. The femme role is highly sought-after because most of the inmates want to continue to play the feminine role.

Study Broad or Daddy plays the male role

Read from Rose Giallombardo 1966, Society of Women: A study of a Women’s Prison p.139-41

In short, in addition to assuming the external symbols of masculinity in connection with dress, hair length, and nomenclature, the inmate assuming the male role is expected to “put herself in a man’s place and act like one.” She is to act like a man in a world where there are no men. The point is critical. The stud must attempt to duplicate the behaviour patterns of her adopted sex and make “normal” individuals of her anatomical sex feel toward her as though she were truly a male...

Yet, while this is so, a delicate equilibrium must somehow be maintained by the stud between the reality of role innovation in the prison world - which is legitimised by the inmate culture as necessary for non-heterosexual relations, and is, therefore, accorded high prestige - and the tendency to become carried away and enslaved with her performance of the stud character and to attempt to transcend psychologically the immutability of anatomy and biological function. We have already noted the alterations of brassieres in order to flatten breasts. In addition, some studs will “refuse to get in the kotex line,” that is, refuse to ask the officer for sanitary napkins, and will order the wife to obtain them. Their pretensions in this regard sometimes take the form of fashioning crude tampons out of sanitary napkins in order to hide the menses. Moreover, they hitch up their slacks as if they were manipulating a penis. ..
By way of summary, stylised symbolic devices make it possible for the Alderson inmates to attach new meanings to a culturally defines sex role representation seen as a variation of a sex type based upon biological attributes. The institutional character of the differential sex roles orders the behaviour of the inmates, defines the limits of permissible behaviour, and regulates interaction between the inmates.

I'd be a Domme. Maybe a switch. I'd probably just use the opportunity of incarceration to hang out with Risia, Nora, Eumenides and Agent99.

P.S. I could so see KillerMuffin being a guard.
