Mr. Theremin is sexayy for sure, but I'd have to with with Ms. Moog:Nora said:I have very strong feelings for the Theremin! I do! I know we're from different upbringings, but I LOVE HIM!!!

She's just so incredibly responsive to her controller, ya know...
I was just thinking of Purcell's Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary from "A Clockwork Orange." I did have a "Switched-On Bach" LP once, but I don't know where it is today. It wandered off long ago...Nora said:Oh yeahhhhh...Ms Moog is sexy as hell. *sigh* But now I have Walter (I think he was still walter at the time?) Carlos's version of Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring stuck in my head.
Hm... guessing here... Zappa? *ducks in case he's wrong*Frank at the Moog was a thing of beauty as well. *pauses in a moment of respectful silence*
Ms Moog isn't so empathic, it's true. She likes to be handled more.I just love Theremin's flexibility. Sometimes he's so electrified and other times...relaxed and classical. *swoon*
Actually, though I've heard him and heard of him, I think this is the first time I've seen a picture of him! He is quite handsome, though. And discreet -- perfect for the living room. Ms Moog would be much harder to explain if the wife walked in.(and Byron...I think you're the only person on here who recognizes my beloved Theremin! lol)
Not a problem at all. Ms Moog is quite the little tramp -- she'll perform for any guy that knows which of her dials to turn and when. But that's part of her charm. And she's made it clear that no-one will ever get the sounds from her that Keith Emerson did. I've just had to learn to accept that.Nora said:Yes, Frank. Zappa.
I know it's hard to talk about the men Ms Moog has had before, but they were together for a long time and had a special relationship. I'm sure she's totally devoted to you, now.
ROFL -- a first date?? Was there a second one?Oh man, I'd totally forgotten about that Walter did the soundtrack for A Clockwork Orange. As much as I love that movie, I do NOT recommend it for a first date (which it was the first time I saw it.). Fabulous use of music in a movie, though.
Yeah, he/she ends up being called "Walter/Wendy." He/she should have used "Wendy" in the beginning, or just been a girl named "Walter." Do you have The Well-Tempered Synthesizer, also?I still have Switched on Bach, but hubby's got pretty much everything Walter/Wendy recorded. It's very hard to talk about his/her career when you're spanning the time before and after the uh...ya know. Surgery. *grumbles*
She does, it's true. She also likes being plugged repeatedly with metal jacks, which is interesting.I agree that Ms Moog can handle the rough stuff a little better. My beloved Therry isn't quite so...rough and tumble. Even in his later, electronic incarnations.
Hm. I missed that, but not surprising since I don't watch television. Apparently, "Mr. T" got around as much as Ms Moog. But I guess we should consider ourselves fortunate. If it weren't for digital sampling, would Ms Moog even be giving me the time of day? I'd rather not speculate...There was a *highly* cool documentary on PBS (or A&E?) a while back on the origins of my beloved. Some neat scenes from when he starred in such musical memories as Plan 9 from Outer Space and of course during the dark years when he er...experimented with drugs with Brian Wilson. His young life, however, was rich with promise and very, very interesting. Neat stuff!

LMAO! I refuse to comment.teddybear4play said:It would definitely have to be a reed instrument. I'd need to have mouth and finger contact at the same time.
