A woman witnessed Paul Bennett pull down his pants, rubbed his crotch against the mailbox and repeatedly screamed ‘wow’ during the incident. He was ordered to undergo alcohol treatment, pay $75 to the woman and register as a sex offender.

Paul Bennett was arrested after a bizarre incident in which he tried to have sex with a mailbox like the one on the right.


A British man has been busted for trying to have sex with a mailbox.

Paul Bennett pulled down his pants in the Scholes Precinct shopping arcade in Wigan on Sept. 9 last year, reports the Manchester Evening News.

He started to inappropriately touch himself. The 45-year-old then rubbed his crotch against the letter drop.

With his hands held in the air, he repeatedly screamed out "wow" before pulling his pants back up and swinging on a nearby lamppost.

Shocked passersby called cops.

Officers arrived and Bennett exposed himself again, reports Wigan Today.

He was arrested and charged with two counts of indecent exposure and using threatening and abusive words with abusive behavior.

Bennett appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court on Friday, where he pleaded guilty to all the allegations.

He was ordered to undergo alcohol treatment, pay $75 to the woman who witnessed his antics and register as a sex offender.
