Has anyone downloaded Internet Explore 7 Beta?

I have and it's twice as fast as Firefox. It has also incorporated a lot of new features similare to Firefox. Tab browsing, etc. Also there are ways to turn of certain Add-ons.

So far haven't found any bugs. It actually looks to be as stable, if not more stable than IE 6.

Thought anyone?

Haven't and won't download it. I don't care if it's faster. IE continually ends up with more popup and spyware problems. Plus, I detest Microsoft.

Oh and then there's the little issue of me not being able to get authenticated.

Yes, that would be a problem as the install for IE7 whats to check/validate your operating system.

I have been using it for a week without a popup showing it's face.
Or a popunder showing it butt!

:D

Were you expecting it to be even more unstable than IE6? Would that be even possible?

As it is a beta release, yes, I thought it might be riddled with bug and flaws. But it is far more stable than any GA release that has come out of MS for a number of years.

By the way, Get your tongue out of my mouth, I'm kissing you goodbye! is the title of a book by Cynthia Heimel, who used to write the "Women" column for Playboy. Not Unknown.

When did she first publish the Book?

Edit: Never mind, went to Amazon. She first published, (copyrighted) the book in 1993. In 1988 or so the phrase was uttered by a listener of the Jonathan Brandmier show in Chicago. It was then used as the title of a song that, damn can't remember the artists, which was played on the radio and then released at the end of 1988 or 89.

Hence the unknown attribute to the phrase.

Actually, I have no idea, but you may be on to something. When I first heard of it, a few years ago, it may have been as part of a country song that the person who was telling me this had heard. Heimel could have picked it up from there.

I already have that. It's called Opera.

Anyhoo, I'll probably check it out, once it's out of Beta mode. Unless it's bloated to death with "features" by then.

I have Opera also and Foxfire. IE 7 is outperforming them both so far!
