idea for story start - Grandpa babysits

I had an idea for a funny scene, feel free to use it in one of your stories if you like.

Story set in the late 1970's or 80s. Parents go somewhere and leave kids with British grandfather.
"Let me tell you of my adventures back when I was a soldier in service of the mighty Empire."
Girl asks in horror, "Your boss was Darth Vader?"
"Hehehe! No, no, real life. Not Star Wars."
Boy asks, "The real Empire? Did you know Cleopatra and Julius Caesar?"
Gramps chuckles. "Hahaha! How old do you think I am, lad? No, not the Roman Empire, the glorious British Empire..."
