Is there anyone else having ICQ problems besides me? I can do everything except type and send messages. And I am not having much luck with AIM either,I can't stay signed on.

nothing with ICQ, but I can't even get signed on to AIM. So i'm having to stick with yahoo tonight.

ICQ

Nope, no problems here either. Working fine right now as I type. :)

My ICQ is fine too I think

I chated with a friend in Tasmania a little while ago just fine (she has an amateur site and we do webmaster chit chat) I have chated with some other girls tonight to and had no problems.

I have Mac ICQ and that may be the difference. Have you loaded a new version lately or not loaded in a real long time?

If any one wants to test they can ICQ me. it's listed in my profile.

I had to download 2000b yesterday, that is when all of these ICQ problems started.

Actually, I'm having problems with Hotmail and MSN. I can't sign on to either. In fact, I can't even get the Hotmail login page up on my screen, and I have no idea why. But it happens a bit.

ICQ is upgrading thier servers tonight, I got the notice cause I am signed up as a business user, I have no idead why but I am.

As for icq2000b its has a memory leak that loads down your ram causing it to slowdown and sometimes not even work

AOL IM, well thats just aol being aol

as for MSN, Billgaters is probably just haveing one of his little hissy fits again is all

I don't use MSN at all, and after what has been happening with a lot of thier users lately, I'm glad I don't.

Update............

Well,AIM is working fine now.ICQ is lucky there are a few people I love to talk to,or I would uninstall it.

ps.

I tried sending a ICQ message, and it took five minutes to type and send three words. It must be a memory problem like was said earlier. So I can't respond to you,you know who you are ;) .

Just downloaded ICQ 2000, last thursday. have been having a little problems since then. No biggy. I can send and recieve messages all right. But for some reason I can't send and recieve files.

AIM has been a little bumpy all weekend. Been throwing my off left and right.

What's been happening with a lot of their users lately? I have MSN and I am curious to know if I should be worried.

Mack and Xander , Yep I had problem's when I downloaded ICQ 2000b about two week's ago, it just wouldn't work in split screen messaging mode and freezing up and not working properly so I had to uninstall it , download the program ' re-install it and in the end had to re-register again has my old ICQ number was not been accepted but since then no probs . Hope that help's and ya get your probs sorted soon .

I wonder what's the difference...I downloaded 2000a after my hard drive crashed, and I've had absolutely no problems at all...if you can, send them a message about bugs...

I've been using ICQ 2000a since about June and it works fine. No problems.

I am back in buisness!!!! It was a memory problem ICQ is having on 2000b.I backloaded to 2000a,but still had to turn the typing sound off.
