Ain't that the truth.

I have some Canadian friends working over there, trying to get the Russians to embrace western ideals with regard to sustainability in the oilfield. The inertia is tough to overcome.

That's funny considering that people are up in arms over here about frakking yet they're teaching sustainability over there.

Regarding sustainability, I meant using engineering that was designed to be lasting, and not temporary. The Russians used to be happy to get 80% output from a pipeline.
