Not really. If it's feedback on your story you want, you'd be better served at the 'Story Discussion circle' HERE.

If what you need is editing...then yes you're in the right place. :)

You could always email it to me and let me read it! Just for my own personal enjoyment...not an editor or anything....

Sorry, LadyC, I suggested she post in here to get an editor for at least a proofread (always a wise idea, IMO) and some feedback in one shot after seeing her thread in SF. I also mentioned my opinion that many of the regulars/editors are experienced giving quality feedback, so if she was just looking for one source, this might be a good place to get one of high caliber.

You're absolutely right, Erika. If I had understood her post the way you've just explained I would have welcomed her with open arms and said she was at the right place, but I didn't. I understood that she wanted feedback more than editing and the SDC felt, to me, more appropriate for it.

I'm sorry if I confused the issue and made her feel unwelcome....it wasn't my intent. :(

With all the back and forth chatting.....I think you'd be better to start another thread asking specifically for editing/feedback help....OR...you could nose around in the Editors' list I don't recommend it but anyway.

Maybe also, you could say what exactly you are looking for. Then, let the reply come pouring and pick and choose. :D

I wrote several( Genre )

Give us a clue sweetvee then you just might get some advice and even some feedback.
On the other hand nothing ventured nothing gained.

Making Room

I would be happy to read and, if necessary, suggest editorial changes as well as comment on the content. Hurry, take a seat, this plate is filling quickly!

Will probably be early next week if you're not in a hurry.

<wink> I always overestimate my estimates, better to keep people happy!
