well 70 at this time of year in Texas is cold LOL well to people from up north it is anyway....to someone like me who has been here most of my life, it's just mild

but I can't wait until it actually gets down to 40 at night, even the upper 50s would be nice so I can crack the window

i actually kind alike that during the day....but of course I like the mixture of weather we have here - we can drop down and stay in the 40s during the winter for a day or so, but then within a day or so it's back up to 70 or even 80 LOL

Sounds a lot like here, except that it goes down to -40/-40 and the goes up to -20/-4F. At least at 40 your breath doesn't freeze!
I really hate the cold!

never been skiing LOL but it only snows here like maybe every few years, well a decent snowfall anyway.....we usually get ice storms which are boring...
