I want a new bed.

Ok, here's the deal. I have been looking for a new bed but I can't find a good looking one that is functional as well. So I need pictures, links and ideas.

The problem is I want one with a modern design but with strategic places to attach rope to. And I have been looking for weeks without finding something I really like. So if you have any good links to places with lots off beds please let me know.

LOL, we recently bought one which we like and decided to reinforce the frame etc., to prevent any problems in the future. Gun metal grey metal frame, decorative but with plenty of points to use with bondage if needed. Now if money was not an object we could have shopped a long time and spent a lot more. Good luck in finding the right one for you.

I have already, more or less, given up any hope off finding something in my area. So I'm just looking around for designs and then I'm probably going to have one custom made for me. I just wish the designers would think about us that likes rope when they design the beds.

Don't pay a zillion bucks for a custom bed. Have them weld something simple out of square tube at a local fabrication shop and then do the finishing yourself.

Laughing at the thought of a three poster bed if you get too energetic, and dent marks in the wall from the headboard smacking. One of the best beds i ever had came from my batchelor days. Think Pimp Daddy, king size water bed with canopy and mirrors. Amusing at the time, but a bitch to move every three years. i'd like to try a solid constrution sleigh bed with "decorative loops" next.

Like the foot board on this one for the "draping partner over the edge possibilities."

Have been looking at it, but it have two problems.
1. It's IKEA so it'll break in no time.
2. I need to modify it with places to tie the rope.

Otherwise it's not bad.

Edited with afterthought: Have a few 25 pound weights "trimmed" to fit around the feet of the bed. You'll get less bed movement when you and your partner get energetic.

And here I thought that is why you tie them down?

I like sleigh beds, although they aren't very modern looking. I think if I slept in one of those I'd have better dreams...or at least faster ones. :/ Saw one once in a very expensive and completely vanilla furniture catalog that had the metal rings already installed in the four corners. Pretty cool.

Ah, this is identical to the one we just bought my son.....ordered another one bt was out of stock so he got second choice.
