I think I might get cable connection in the new year.

I just found out that it's not that costly. A tenner a month from ntl.

Here is a question. Would there be any problem with the fast connection and my ancient puter with pathetic RAM?

FYI: I'll be off Lit for a while. The Mummy needs me.

Believe me when I say this: Once you get a cable modem, you'll wonder how the fuck you ever survived with a snail-paced dialup.

Do I need a cable modem? As it was explained to me was that I didn't need any extra hardwares.

Three strikes, and you're out!

Are you paying for the the installation or just the service.

You'll need an Ethernet adaptor,E-cable and xover cable, depending on your set-top box.

I've had the service with NTL since March and it's great(only gone down 3 times).

Now I'm considering the 1MB service.

I think it's just for the line. I get better quality TV and faster connection.

It maybe like switching from British Tel to ntl.
