I got the cheesecake out, and turned to put it on the island. Then I turned back to close the door. Apparently she crawled in while i had my back turned. I heard her meowing a few seconds later. It's the second time, so I knew right away where the sound was coming from.

Yes, Heavy, she was a fresh kitty.

Unfortunately, cats getting into dryers is not that uncommon. When I got my first kitten, the breeder warned me to always check the washer and dryer before turning them on because cats climb in so quickly.

Yes.. our cat, years ago, got into the dryer. During the cycle she would hit the door.. and it would open.. stopping the dryer. Mom thinking it was one of our pairs of shoes.. kept starting the dryer over again.

To her horror.. it wasn't shoes that went through an hour in the dryer.

Hey gusty. My kitchen is open to the living room. No door. I have been being careful...except i forgot. LOL...Now i'm back to careful.

Luckily my cats don't go for any major appliances. They just like taking dives into the bathtub and toilet every now and then.

And yes the toilet is always clean.
