i don't see how that could've worked, but last i heard he's completely given up on a district 9 sequel. that's probably for the best. at the end of district 9 it was pretty clear that when the prawns came back they were going to be fucking pissed and it likely wouldn't have been pretty. unless he copped out completely it would probably be a major downer of a movie.

I never got that. I believe the only relation between the two movies was they had the same director. They do share a theme of have and have nots. That's all.

You find a good copy? Comments on TPB aren't particularly flattering of the cam versions.

i found one that said it was screener, but it was one of those decent chinese camrips (r6?). it was watchable. no cropping that i noticed, reasonably clear picture if a tad dark (there's a scene with a tattoo that you can't see, but they make it pretty clear what it is with a flashback). the sound was kinda blah, but i just turned it up.

oh and chinese subs, but they didn't cover the english ones so i didn't care.

in short, i won't be burning it, but it served its purpose.
