I predict

No, I know what it means, I just don't share the lefts support of child abuse in public schools.
No one supports child abuse in public schools but you went insane with histrionics about it.

Porn in 3rd grade? What the hell.

No, I'm not the one crying, "The sky is falling!" because of an extreme example. You are amplifying the hysteria involved in scapegoating trans people. Relax, and let the social debate play out. Trans people have no more of an agenda to take over the world than gays or blacks did during their historical social movement periods. Trans people are less than 2% of the population, and 99% of them just want to be themselves and live in peace.

Your fear is out of proportion. Take a few deep breaths. Your old fuddy-duddy-ism is really showing today.

I'm not afraid of trans or LGBT+ people. But the response to their activists' demands is over the top.

Yet the Scottish parliament has bent over backwards to accomodate a tiny percentage and annoyed many who see themselves as women, not 'people who menstruate'. It will not have the impact of state's interpretation now Roe v Wade has been struck down, but it will annoy many in Scotland. Scotland has far more serious issues than trans people e.g. too many drug and alcohol deaths.

It is a nonsense, and irritates our local trans people..

It doesn't only irritate "trans people." 100 years ago women fought for the right to be equal to men. Now, 100 years later, women are fighting to concede the field of equality to men who want to pretend they're women.

JK Rowling is one of the women standing up against that crap. Interestingly enough, another woman author has decided to stand up with her.

"You're burning the wrong witch."

^^^Poor fool thinks that seeking health assistance from a professional is a bad thing. It's no wonder he has a history of melting down on the porn board.

I said NOTHING about whether seeking mental health services is a bad thing or not. I never even got close to mentioning that issue.

Yet it lives loud and strong in your head.

Which tells just about every thinking person how you secretly feel about the subject.

I agree, the pendulum effect can already be seen swinging back, people are tired of being preached to by people who, end of the day, are the biggest hypocrites out there.

It will be a good thing for anyone but the phonies because once its gone, causes like racism and women's rights, gay rights etc can go back to the steady organic progress we've been seeing as opposed to the regression and set backs caused by the woke who try to act like we're still in 1950.

For years I've said someone like Al Sharpton is the worst thing to happen to the cause of racism, we now have an entire movement of toxic hate mongers who have ruined every cause they've touched.

The fact they have no actual conviction will render them extinct very quickly once their overlords start saying "You know, maybe we should..."

The threads here are full of people preaching, like yourself in this comment. BB thanks you.

Poor fearful babies. Making a mountain out of a molehill, simply because they need a new boogey man. Still stinging from taking on a majority (women), so they start going after the smallest of the minorities.

Poor pathetic right-wing babies, ever the victims and ever the bullies.

By the way, has anyone won the latest round of BoBo Bingo?

When it began, feminism wasn't about downgrading women to look like/act like/mimic men. It was about celebrating womanhood and how unique it is to be a woman.

Today, feminism is a catchword for faggotry and some women are finally figuring that out.

It's difficult to not win.

The fact that the molehill exists should tell you to shut the fuck up about things you have no knowledge about.

But you won't because you have an axe to grind against humanity and a world which won't lend itself to the disorder in your mind.

Is he talking to himself again?

So if I understand correctly, a very small number of people born with female reproductive organs identify as men, and a very small number of people born with male reproductive organs identify as women.

So in America, do we still protect the life liberty and happiness of the minority from the tyranny of the majority.???

I know when it’s a Cis religious minority on some issue, they sure expect to be protected.

Why wouldn’t they want to afford that protection to another minority group.

Just kidding.

We

Know

Why

So what was your implication in mentioning mental health?

you were shown a "woke" person advocating it. is this thread you created not concerning "woke" people and "wokeness" in society?
It's not my fault you listen to the voices in your head.

Pointing out that many members of the LBGT community need mental health counseling isn't derogatory. What it does is expose the FACT that the LBGT community isn't the most mentally stable segment of society and ordering the greater society around their ideas might not be the smartest thing to do.

But you go ahead and promote their agenda while telling the larger segment of society that they're the real problem...

Everyone's equal.

That doesn't mean we all get a Month, Parades, wall to wall 24/7 media coverage everytime we feel sad, etc.
Protecting the minority doesn't require that the majority reduce itself to the level of the minority. It means that the minority can't be dismissed as irrelevant while the majority runs roughshod over them.

Certainly we have segments of our society which need protection from those who would use their majority presence to eliminate the "undesirables" or "deplorables." That doesn't mean those minority segments get to be made the rulers of the majority.

Current progressive thinking appears to be an attempt to put the minority in control of the majority while also not adhering to the concept of protecting those with opposing political/social views. All while they mouth the mantra of equity rather than equality.

Uncle Creepster says what???

Seems I recall a certain Cis “white” “Christian” “man” getting a fair bit of attention recently.

And that ^ can be applied throughout American history.

Poor Cis white male victims.

SAD!!!

You should practice in front of a mirror before posting. That way you could maybe post something articulate.

I think we're on the same page.
It's not hard to figure out that the idea of the world needing to adopt braille as the one and only standard for written language isn't the way to make the blind "equal" to everyone else. All that does is try to reduce the sighted to the level of the blind.

The same applies to all handicaps, social or physical.

IN 'the good old days' in the UK, homosexuality was a crime but very few people were prosecuted for it.

The dialect Polari, used by gays, was well understood and even featured on BBC radio shows.

We knew there were gays and lesbians in our community but didn't see them as a threat. Apart from the vociferous activists who believe in silencing people who stand up for women, they still aren't a threat. They are just part of our community.

Their only "agenda" is them wanting to be able to live their lives being who they are.

much like any other person with privilege.

"ordering the greater society around their ideas.."

trying to think about any of their "ideas" that are hurting me or impeding me living my life. drawing a blank.

but now that you mention it, yeah, I remember reading about a time when progressing as a society within a nation that actually believes in its own constitution needed a little ordering to get beyond older, shittier ideas...

that right there woulda been called "wokeness" back then, I reckon.
