For some bizarre reason, The Ritilin Brothers (a.k.a. Thing 1 and Thing 2) saw an advert for Snow White on the telly and asked for it.

Aside from being flabbergasted that they could actually talk, this was the first time they'd ever ASKED for something (we totally dodged both the Teletubbies and the Barney bullet - although we have vids, there is NO paraphenelia in the house).

So of course, the bloody thing only comes on DVD, at least where we shop, so I nicked one for them when I was in the store last week.

OMG! They watch this thing 3 - 5 times a day! They get up in the morning, dismantle their cribs, come into our room, and ask for "Snow". We pop it in, they sit mesmerized - and these are the same children that can't manage to sit still and eat!

I'm told several times during the day they watch it over, and the last thing they do before bed is watch it. They have even turned off one of the 2,000 truck vids they are so fond of. Punishment is no Snow, and it works! We're so tickled I bought them their own DVD player...I think we're going to try Hercules and the Jungle Book next.

I don't know what old Walt did, but I'm ready to don a cold suit, strut right into that freezer and give his icicle prone body a big wet kiss!

Bob, I know the feeling, except in my case, it's the Little Mermaid.

My Wife's daughter sits in front of the TV for hours watching ANYTHING related to the Little Mermaid. I haven't gone so far as to buy her a DVD player of her very own, but thank God VCR's are so damned dirt cheap, not to mention Disney east, west and toons being part of the basic channel package on the satellite system.

Bob, I loved Snow White too. What? Can't a strong Black man show his appreciation of a White woman so fair, so kind, so true? Where's renton at?

Seriously, Fantasia and Snow White are Disney at its finest. It's obvious the tykes have taste. I personally haven't enjoyed a Disney flick since Chittey Chirtey Bang Bang.

That is so cute, and I am impressed.

I think the whole thing is good.
Snow White is a good little slut.

Oh great, just what I need - the neighbors are gonna start hiding their daughters again. Son of a bitch!

I agree, although Hercules was pretty good. The one that fucked with me was Bedknobs and Broomsticks. As if Angela Lansbury wasn't scary enough, something about the suits of armor walking on their own gave me nightmares!

Starfish

Thank you for showing those pics. Think I'm in love now.

:D

Snow White question

Starfish...isnt that the movie where she sings
"some day my prince will cum?"

For some reason that made me think of a pornographic cartoon I saw when I was in the sixth grade.

It was Alic in Wonderland, and the only scene I still remember is her sitting on a phallic shaped mushroom and it beginning to thrust...

I was always a fan of The Wizard of Oz. I choose to think of it as an upper-level child developmental stage.

Riiight...

Bro 1 loved Winnie the Poo.

Sis was a big fan of Little Mermaid.

Bro 2 liked Ninja Turtles.

Oh yes, I was the brains of the group.;)

Sounds like you have twins, Bob. Me too. My twin girls are 2-1/2 and currently working on driving mommy insane on a daily basis. ;)

I saw Snow White hanging out at the photo lab.

She was singing: Someday, my prints will come........

Go figure! The Ritilin Brothers are 2 1/2 too!

What a coincidence, Bob! I loved your Thing 1 and Thing 2 analogy. So apt!

Mine now decend upon a room like a swarm of locusts. You'd swear there were 10 of them, not just 2! *smiles*

Ruby

p.s. Mine were born May 25th, 1999. Yours?

Stay away from Jungle Book!

Once that's got the Things' souls, you've lost them forever. Stay away I tell you...

THIS IS GENUINE WARNING!

:(
