I never got one until I had kids.
Tetanus boosters hurt. I think it's the medicine, it seems to sting a lot more than almost anything else.
I will say that whatever they put in your spine when you get an epidural stings the WORST out of any meds I've ever had. I almost jumped right out of the bed. That's something I wish they'd warn people about!
