I Need a Prayer thread

SLOgent is in urgent need of our prayers. He is not doing well and has been moved to a full care facility. heartlessbytch, is in contact with him and has asked me to post this on her behalf. He is battling lung cancer and it is taking its toll.
I would ask all of you to remember him in your prayers. The power of prayer is pretty awesome. ...I am adding heartless to the prayer list as well, although of course, she only asked for prayers for SLOgent, that is so like her to think of others before herself.

I have to ask for prayers for many tonight. First, my old neighbor's family - he passed unexpectedly recently, leaving a wife and a grown son and many, many friends. Second, a friend whose sister passed yesterday after a long battle with cancer. Third, a colleague whose wife had back surgery recently and is still in excruciating pain. Fourth, one of my dearest, oldest friends and her family - her daughter called me today to tell me her mom's dentist had found bone cancer instead of the abcessed tooth they expected; her prognosis is unknown as of yet. And last, I ask for your prayers for myself as I deal with medical issues, both for a successful outcome with no complications and that I will be able to handle all of the related issues.

Thank you for the prayers and well wishes. We've seen three specialist for three different illness but it's winding down. We are awaiting results from the last and are praying surgery is not the only option. Please continue your prayers for my daughter. I know she'll be fine but back up is appreciated
