I Need a Prayer thread

Thanks everyone for your prayers. Today Doctor's appointment was full of better news and more of the same. The new results show that instead of the most aggressive breast cancer that would most likely return soon with a vengeance, it is showing borderline. Not exactly sure what that is going to be, I kinda get lost the more they talk to me, that is why I don't do dr's appointments alone.

What I do know is this; I got my car keys back, I will still have a nurse & PT for the next 2 months, I will only have to go to the doctor's once a month for the rest of the year, NO more FUCKING chemo, still lots of drugs and regular iron infusions. Things are now on the healing path.

Thank you for the prayers for my friend and I. She is holding it together pretty well. He asked to be cremated and his remains scattered in a few places. Therefore his services will be in September. We're serving all of his favorite desserts in his honor. He'll have both a military and police honor guard. Again, thank you for your prayers. It means a lot.

Prayers for those in need and a story.

I posted quite a while back about a friend who was watching her wee son dealing with cancer. He went through a long period of chemo because of his age and then had a long cancer-free period. Well, the cancer is back and he's going to have to deal with an even longer bout of chemo.

What is he doing? Certainly not feeling sorry for himself. He has a small collection of stuffed animals, given to him by the hospital, that help him through his treatments. He was apparently looking them over not long ago and decided that he needed to give some new animals to the hospital for other children. Recruiting his sister, they sold lemonade and homemade cookies, raising enough money to buy TWENTY stuffed animals for the care program.

I love this kid!

SLOgent is in urgent need of our prayers. He is not doing well and has been moved to a full care facility. heartlessbytch, is in contact with him and has asked me to post this on her behalf. He is battling lung cancer and it is taking its toll.
I would ask all of you to remember him in your prayers. The power of prayer is pretty awesome. ...I am adding heartless to the prayer list as well, although of course, she only asked for prayers for SLOgent, that is so like her to think of others before herself.
