I Need a Prayer thread

Just wanted to stop by and thank you all for all your prayers and well wishes. We got a negative report back late yesterday!! Praise God! Thank you all again for thinking of us as we walk this scary road.

My nearly 90 year old Grammy fell last night and broke her hip. Surgery today. Prayers would be welcome.

How good they were able to schedule the surgery so quickly! You and your Grammy are definitely getting prayers. *hug*



I came in a while back to request prayers for a dear friend who was diagnosed with a strange throat cancer that strikes smokers and drinkers, and he'd never been either. He went through chemo and radiation, finally getting a clean bill of health. Almost two years after his initial diagnosis, he told me today that he has a new lump on his neck. He goes in tomorrow for a new set of scans and I'm terrified for him.

Thanks everyone. I'll let you know as soon as his results come back. Obviously, we're hoping it's not a recurrence, because that's a worst-case scenario.
