I Need a Prayer thread

This may sound strange, but I need you guys to pray that I stop liking you all so much. I REALLY need to get on with my studies and my life and I am beginning to suspect that I am both addicted to the Net and to sex, so Lit is a place that I find that I cannot leave even if, as I do now, I have one and a half essays to write AND a major exam for which I must study, all FOR TOMORROW.

Nothing strange about that at all! Internet and porn addiction are real problems for some. I'll say a prayer for you. Sending hugs too! Good luck with your studies.

Moving into the two hardest days of the year for me.. two years ago tomorrow I lost my youngest daughter.. and the next day would have been her 27th birthday..

Hey everyone. Just wanted to update anyone who cares about my cousin's baby. He got discharged from the children's hospital and went home. Mother and baby seem to be doing fine. There may be some brain damage but considering how young he is I think he'll have a good life.

I need prayer for so many things I don't know where to begin.

Health issues. I keep fighting the good fight and they keep throwing new punches into the game. More tests are coming up and I'd just like to know how to handle what is happening and that it isn't the worst one of the two choices. Prayers of thanks that the tests this week were positive.

Secondly, yesterday I was in a car crash that actually made the local television news. I am sore and black and blue. I'll be fine, however, we are going to have to buy a new car, something I didn't want to do for another year or two for financial reasons. Prayers for wisdom in choosing a good, safe vehicle and finding one with low miles at a good price would be appreciated.

Josh Powell and his sons died yesterday because Josh blew up the house they were in. It was deliberate...it was wrong....I have so many thoughts going through my head regarding it. I ask that prayers be sent for the missing mom's family for them to deal with the grief and for the friends and classmates of the two boys who will grieve also.

It is sad when crap like this happens. It was a messy case to begin with as their mom went missing...then Josh's dad was accused of child porn. Now Josh kills himself and the boys.

Also we need prayers for the families in the Phillippines who dealt with a massive earthquake this weekend.

i just want to send out prayers for those who need to be welcomed with sleep and not combating against it. may your hearts and minds be reassured by knowing that His light is shining through the darkness. know that He will protect your body and your soul from the burdens that weigh on your shoulders and give you the sweet gift of a peaceful sleep.

i pray that He touches us all with a grateful spirit - and have a benevolent heart toward those who suffer at this time.

i pray that He heals those whose hearts are troubled - overwhelmed. I pray that peace, understanding and love will mend your wounds.

there are times when we call out to Him, and we feel deserted because His answers are not always instant, but trust that in time, His love will soothe and heal you.

I really need a prayer about my doctors visit in a week. Ive had crippling foot pain my whole life and Ive decided to just ask him to stop the pain. They havent been able to find anything wrong. I really really need him to believe me that this pain is real and its affecting my life.

I will pray that you have a successful visit with your doctor. I pray that God will bless your doctor with gentle ears to listen and a kind heart to sympathize with your suffering. I pray that if this doctor, with his gift and expertise, is not able to help you, that he guides you toward a practitioner who possibly can.

Lastly I will pray that God give you the strength to endure all of this.

You are precious and He will bring you out of your medical issues.
