I Need a Prayer thread

My cousin's one-month old is in the hospital with meningitis and it doesnt look good. He really really needs prayers tonight. Please also pray for my cousin, she's very young and I don't know if she'll be able to handle it if the baby doesnt make it through the night. She's had... problems in the past and it would be a huge blow for the family to lose her and the baby.

I couldnt do it. Nearly emptied my stomach on the ride there, had to turn back. I feel fine now, but I'm stuck at home waiting for word from my family. Please keep praying.

Things just keep piling on...I'm in the middle of a long distance move, which takes me away from my bf, the dog is still not totally well, and today I got a callback for further diagnostics at the hospital because there is a "new finding" they want to check. I'm worn out, sad, worried, and now scared. I could really use your prayers and some virtual hugs tonight.

Thanks to all for the concern. The baby is still alive and making small signs of recovery. Last night he had his breathing tubes out and he's starting to have a gag reflex again. We're all very hopeful.

UPDATE: Thanks to all for your thoughts. The diagnostic tests at the hospital showed that all is well. The dog is a little better (believe it or not, her diagnosis on her chart is "anorexia". Geez, leave it to me to have a pet with a psychological problem! ) The house goes on the market tomorrow, so there's light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks, everyone!

I would like to ask you all to pray that the specialist can get me in earlier than he has me scheduled. I'd also like to ask you to pray that what I need to see the specialist for is fixable. One of my itis' is acting up horribly, and it is beginning to scare Nat and I.
