I don't even know how to set it up. Just lucky enough to be invited to dinner by the big guy and I had such a nice night. What a man. Just really. Very handsome guy. devilishly cute.
I'm completely blown away that he did a cover of "through being cool" by devo with his band on one of his cds. one of my favorite songs~i even posted the catch line in a thread here like a week or two ago and i love it when that happens. it's very psychic.
We had dinner in quite a nice indian restaurant here in the east village and it was fun. you can always tell how good a friend your with by the amount of time it takes to order somethingi think we spent less time eating than anything else. he's exactly the personality he is on the board and the real thing is just sooooo much better. we talked about all sorts of things~it was fun.
We ended up in a gay bar on east fourth street~very low key place actually. i kinda wished it was a little later so he could have seen a thicker crowd just so he could see what it was like but the dirty stuff doesnt really start untill after midnight...we had a few drinks and talked some more and listened to music and it was kinda cool...did a little tour of my neighborhood. Also good fortune in that it was a not as cold as it could be night and we peeked in some kitschy shops and and eventually ended up in another little bar on avenue b and listened to some more music and drank a little more...this really yummy smokey scoth i cant remember the name of and i mooched cigars off of him to cull the craving for nicotine in the coming days and we gossiped about the board a little. i confessed my sock addiction and he showed me his killer muffin socks and i got to whine alot which i *never* get to do enough of and i just feel so lucky i got to meet such a sweet guy i've gotten to know over the past eight months.
what a man.
and i got a goodnight kiss.
