I'll bet you would know this of me, but...
The New York Times - as undeniably powerful as it is...
Has a HUGE Journalistic (over written because they just love themselves so damn much) stick up their collective asses.
This newspaper is the snob of all newspapers.
Not without some merit - but it still rubs me the wrong way.
Give me the Kansas City Star any day - now there's a true, humble yet great - survivor of a 'true' newspaper.
I actually like the LA Times as well.
The Constitution Journal is not bad but has been McPaper'ized by Gannett.
The Tennesean is pretty good too.
Give me a strong - medium sized city paper anyday - they are most pure. They try harder. They are not snobs.
