Joan Jett. Need I say more?

I saw him dancing there by the record machine
I knew he must have been about 17
The beat was going strong, playing my favorite song
And I could tell it wouldn't be long till he was with me
Yeah with me
And I could tell it wouldn't be long till he was with me
Yeah with me

Singin' I love rock and roll
So put another dime in the jukebox baby
I love rock and roll
So come on take some time and dance with me

He smiled so I got up and asked for his name
but that don't matter he said cuz it's all the same
I said can I take ya home, where we can be alone
And next we're moving on and he was with me
Yeah me
And next we're moving on and he was with me
Yeah me

Singin' I love rock and roll
So put another dime in the jukebox baby
I love rock and roll
So come on take some time and dance with me

I said can I take ya home where we can be alone
Next we're moving on and he was with me
Yeah me
and we'll be moving on and singing that same old song
Yeah with me

Love that song. It was my regular gig during drunken karoake nights.

<shudder>>

I love Joan Jett. I really wanted to see her when I went to see The Rocky Horror Show on Broadway, but they had her understudy perform. It was still great.

She's hot-I would do her.

Me too...I was so disappointed!

My fave Joan Jett song..."Victem of Circumstance"

I'd rather do the Blackhearts tho...

Joan Rocks!

I Hate Myself For Loving You
Bad Reputation
Light Of Day

Even the Runaways stuff rocked!

Hey Dilly, help me out here man... who did Magnet and Steel from the same era... It's on a playlist I have to learn and I can't find it anywhere...:(

i was just remarking to someone how it is a cultural travesty that "i wanna rock and roll all night" is considered the rock and roll national anthem and "i love rock and roll" is overlooked.

kiss sucks

You mean Walter Egan? From the Boogie Nights soundtrack?

Ooh ooh ah
Now I told you so you ought to know
Ooh it takes some time for a feelin' to grow
Ooh you're so close now I can't let you go
Ooh and I can't let go
For you are a magnet and I am steel

I can't hope that I'll hold you for long
Ooh you're a woman who's lost to your song
Ooh but the love that I feel is so strong
Ooh and it can't be wrong

With you I'm not shy to show the way I feel
With you I might try my secrets to reveal
For you are a magnet and I am steel
For you are a magnet and I am steel
