Nothing else needs to be said. Whether she was funny, cynical, cheerful, or grumpy, there are very few people you meet (especially on the internet) who are completely themselves. Her wonderful personality and insightful wit are just bonuses.

News of the surgery (thank you Aurora) brought me here looking for more info. I mean, I knew it was coming, but so soon? It is marvelous to see so many people she has touched in similar ways speaking up. She is truly a kind person, and I must add my voice to everyone here in wishing her a speedy recovery. I hope this surgery is a huge boost in her quality of life and that she comes to chat as soon as she feels up to it.

In the meantime I will hang onto her Rubber Chicken of Doom(tm) for, umm, safekeeping.

Jammikins is just too wonderful for words. She's quick witted, she banters, she genuinely cares for others and rises above the muck and mire of this world to lift us up with smiles and hugs and laughter.

And if she did go in for a sex change operation, then I am going bi.

Jammies made it very clear to me and from conversation with her she hoped she had made it clear to others that, while good wishes are welcome, she prefered to give details of her situation herself when she felt prepared. I am VERY dissapointed to understand that people who considere themselves her friends would violate her wishes in this way.

I no longer wish to be a part of this place.

Oh, Mal...you did nothing wrong...I am sure that those who devulged didn't think they were doing anything wrong...and perhaps just the excitement of knowing she is well got the best of them? I think Jammies would understand...

This is a lovely thread for her to read...everyone here loves her and appreciates her sense of humor and just her presence at Lit....

You were very kind to let those who aren't here often enough know that Jammies was not going to be around...at least we had a chance to send her our thoughts and well wishes...
