My exgf is getting bigger, and her life is more out of control than when she was with me. A great part of the time, I went to work, and she stayed home and pursued her own interests.
But, she wanted more than I was satisfied with, and sought her life elsewhere.
It pains me to watch her struggle and get into bad situations, but I guess that's tough love......

This sounds familiar. When I got out of my bad situation, I reveled in the fact that my ex just fell deeper and deeper into chaos. Then, I just felt sad. Now, I don't think about him at all.
