I just love the way Bush's crowd couldn't wait to show...

those pictures of cheering Iraqis waving at the troops, shouting welcome and toppling statues.

Rumsfeld almost waxed lyrical when he said "the <<pause for effect>> joy on the faces of the free people of Iraq"

He forgot to mention that just down the road where all this was happening a fucking battle was taking place...

Actually he did mention that, several times. Maybe you were taking a whizz during that part.

You need to get a grip on yourself

Oh

You have one

CNN's pentagon correspondent was waxing poetic to wolfblitzer at supper time about America's "Blitzkrieg" on Baghdad.

Most truthful think I've heard on CNN yet.

Syntax buddy says thing. It's CNN, there's no thinking going on there

And, since it's CNN, it's still a long way from anything you could call the truth.

I heard him say 'several times' that the war wasn't over and that there was still a lot of fighting to do. But he was talking about Iraq as a whole.

The battle I'm alluding to was in Baghdad itself not far from the 'free' Iraqis.

If I were one of them I'd wait a bit longer before I started to show any anti-Saddam feelings...

You never know...

Actually, when I put on CNN, they said several times that this was not the case all over Bagdhad, and was just indicative of that area of the city.

Of course since CNN always lies, maybe it was indicative of the whole city.

Gung-hoing again are we?

I forgot! Wednesday night! Your Iraqi friend must have been positively full of himself. Like in Deerborn, MI, where they took to the streets in celebrations, now that their families would not be targeted.

And how about those kids liberated from prison today?

Like Auswich.

You pick GREAT allies in life...
