..cans of beer don't have nutrition info printed on them like cans of soda. I don't drink alcohol all that often, choosing instead to drink soda as much as I can. I even checked the cardboard 12 pk box and that doesn't have info on it anywhere either. Not that I'm terribly concerned with the nutritional qualities of beer (or soda for that matter), but since I have to watch my carbohydrate intake I was curious to see the info. Anyone know why this is so? (Anyone care?)

PS - I'm a cheap date, one can get me "squirrelly". As Benny Hill used to say, "After one drink I really begin to feel it. After two drinks anyone can feel it."

Have you checked their websites?

I tried to see if they had that info. posted on Budweiser.com, but you have to be 21 to get in.

And I never lie about those things. :D

Beer, Wine, and other alcoholic drinks come under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, so they don't have to conform the the FDA regulations about nutrition labeling.

The low carb mania has hit such a high that one of the beer companies is going to launch a low carb beer.

Look at the ads, they'll be all over the place i'm sure.

can somebody please explain to me these whole low carb mania? what the hell is wrong with the world?

Carbs = sugar which is bad for anyone with high blood sugar (can you say diabetes?)

I'm not sure I'd try low-carb beer though. I'm borderline so I can get away with a little too much here and there.
