when i got a call from an association asking me to support their candidate in the upcoming election.

The broken english of the caller made me wonder if these calls had also been outsourced.

I got a call to see Al Sharpton!!!! I can't stand that guy! He just makes me sick!

They are also coming around to make sure i know where to go vote.

You would not believe all the stuff I get in the mail everyday.

I can almost recite a John Kerry ad because I have seen it so many times tonite. It is on at every break!

It isn't so much as who the ad and campaigning stuff is for, but i resent being targetted so heavily because of the area I live in!

They aren't doing this in my Dad and friends neighborhoods! It's ridiculous!

I think we have asked them to take us off their call and mailing lists the last three elections and they never do! I think that this should fall under that do not call registry. We have 3-4 messages everyday!

I get those calls all the time.. what's even worse they all start off speaking Spanish to me... for some reason people in Los Angeles are always mistaking my Italian last name for a Spanish name... I can't even get a word in edgewise... when I finally get out that I don't speak Spanish... they generally stutter and hang up...

in light of some of the election issues, the thought of outsourcing the call list just struck me as ironic......and a bit funny

Actually it wasn't covered by the do not call registry, which is exactly why the do not call registry has been tied up in court.

The three younger kids did their drama performance today, as you know emmaroo. Anyways when they got back into the van afterwards, the oldest looked at me and exclaimed, "That was just a campaign thing today!!".
they were told it was to dedicate something but, of course, it quickly turned into a "why you should vote for <insert politicians name>".
