i just ate a work of art.

ok, my dad came up here (alaska) to visit. flew in today. met him at his bed and breakfast after i got off work. we went out to eat. so we go to this place and we opened the door. what's inside the door? a little cafe straight out of Great Chefs of the World. i was not served halibut with rice, i was served an immaculately crafted sculpture made using a very delicious piece of halibut and rice. my meal alone cost as much as my entire week's budget for lunch at work.

i feel so uncultured and poor.

Sure beats a sculpture made out of PB&J. Or still-life-a-la-Ramen.
