Well, you have thread starting down pat.

The FAQ page is through the question mark icon in the upper right of every BB page. (the one that says "FAQ" under it.)

There are two ways to reply to a thread.

1: at the top and bottom of each thread, are two blue links. "Post Reply" and "start New Thread" Click "Post Reply" To add to a thread.

2: At the bottom of each post, there is an icon for "reply with Quote" (it just says "quote" under the icon.) Click that icon, and you will get the text of the post you are replying to already entered in the text box.

Note that when you quote, there is text enclosed in square brackets that doesn't show in the post when you preview your reply. Those are BB text formatting commands, and they come in pairs. The first is QUOTE, the last is /QUOTE.

Make sure that you page down past that last 'tag' before beginning your reply so that your reply is not displayed in bold face as part of the quote.

You can edit out parts of the quoted text that aren't relevant to your reply. Be careful you don't accidently delete part of the formatting tags. (i.e. leave the /B and /QUOTE tags to keep the whole reply being displayed in the quote format.)
