Hello, I am glad to join here with the group of literotica. I want to get some advice from you guys? Will you give some tips here? and guides for me to have a good start in here.

Welcome GentleBuster,

A few tips, as requested:

1) Lurk and spend some times reading threads in the different forums. You'll find an ebb and flow to the place, that can vary between forums. Find one you feel comfortable in, and dive in. Post and contribute.

2) Read the stickies and FAQ threads near the top of the forum pages. They will likely answer some of the general questions and provide useful info when starting out.

3) Don't be a mouth-breathin', cousin-kissin', pee-drinkin', knuckle-draggin', lecherous twat. At least not for the first month or so.

4) The best way to get to know folks 'round here, and get known, is to post. Post as often or as little as you're comfortable, and be yourself (exception would be if yourself resembles any or all of the described in number 3 above).

5) Have fun, be respectful, and don't take it too seriously.

6) Stay as long as you like

7) Don't ask if Lit Chat is working. Lit Chat is a ruse and was the brainchild of kagillionaire bandwidth provider who receives click-through payments every time someone refreshes the initialization screen. Besides, better chicks, with real vaginas, hang out on the boards.

8) Not all the folks with penis avatars are dicks.

9) Not all the folks with boob avatars are girls. Some of them have dicks.

Again, welcome! See you on the boards.

Good lord, yes. I wish someone had warned me about the General Board before I wandered over there. There aren't enough showers in the world...

Seriously, though, GentleBuster... you're on the right track. The place is sort of like a party. If people are posting on the boards, then they don't mind if everyone reads and responds so long as it's generally on the thread topic. They have Private Messaging for anything else. Mingle!

Oh, one word of warning... the title of the thread is very rarely what it continues to be after about twenty-five posts or so (found on the right side of the screen). After that, you really can't tell what is going on unless you open it and scan about the last five entries. If you are responding to the original post, it's a good idea to quote it since most times the forumites won't really remember what it was having moved on to something else entirely. :p

If you are making a specific response to a statement, it's probably best to quote what you are responding to since there may be others typing at the same time you are.

Other than that, Emmy seemed to sum it up pretty good. (and yes, that really is her in her avatar. isn't she a hottie? )

Everything I can think of has been covered...

CLiff Notes:

1) Welcome. Avoid the General Board.

2) This place is USUALLY friendly, except the General Board.

3) Get your posts to 100, whilst whistling past the General Board.

This was the thread that gave me the idea for a welcome thread...I think I'll wait a while then suggest someone start a brand new one WITHOUT the big steaming pile of unpleasantness on the welcome mat.
