I have no computer!

I, sadly, will not be on Lit for awhile. At least until I get my computer fixed. So if anyone misses me, I haven't run off Lit pissed off. I just don't have a computer.

This is what happened (any tips, please e-mail me!) I tried to do a full recovery and my recovery disk wouldn't work (I have an HP). It said either the disks were damaged or my cd drive was (my cd drive worked though). So I contacted HP who told me to run FDisk. I did and now it says "Invalid media type scanning drive c"

So here I am, stuck without a computer (except at school, which is why I won't be on Lit, they frown at porn). I will be back sometime soon, hopefully!

i said i wouldnt be around much whenever i was in a computer lab for the same reason... but i came by anyway.. i decided i didnt care all that much (at least as long as i was sitting in a corner with my back to a wall)

Ahhh a Hewlett Packard.. I still think HP is a sub of Microsoft.. it's just as shitty.. anyway... call HP back.. tell them you will not get off the phone until they help you.. that is their job.. I spent 4 glorious hours with a man named Doug from HP.. about a year ago.. my computer was being an ass also.. (that was the first time). He was a big help.. He kept telling me he had to go... and for me to call back if i had any more problems. I told him if he didn't want this piece of shit computer back... shoved up his ass.. he'd stay on the line.. I told him he got paid for doing his job.. and he was going to do it.

He turned out to be a really nice guy.. and helped me fix mine.

Trust me.. they won't want to do it.. but it's their job.. MAKE THEM DO IT! *l*

I would keep them on the line, but it's a long distance number (unless you know where I can find a 1-800 number for them).

I'm back for a bit (the computer lab is empty at the moment!) I have some more tips though, to try when I get home later.

Ohiobbw... nope.. no toll free number.. sorry.. but if it's all possible for you to get to http://www.hp.com and go thru the trouble shooting section.. you might find your problem.. I will do some looking to see if I can find anything.. I might just have call you and we can trouble shoot together.. *L*

shit... i forgot to ask you.. what kind of HP is it? there is a number on the front.. mine is a 9680c.. i need more info before I can do any trouble shooting
