It's not hard, really. You take the long, cyndrillical stick filled with addictive substances, put it between your lips, light it with a flame and inhale. Now, on first try, this might be hard to do, and may result in coughs and sputters. Keep working at it. Good things come to those who wait, you know. I won't pretend to understand or even speculate on any psychological reason for smoking, but when I was in grammar school, I never had a pen or pencil that I didn't chew on, usually to oblivion. When I got to High School, it just seemed natural to start smoking. That was 32-years ago. I quite for a year-and-a-half once, and like picked it up again like I'd never missed a beat. I know it's suicidal [pauses in typing to take a drag], but just keep doing it.

The funny thing is, I find it incredibly sexy to watch a pretty girl smoke. The hand to mouth gesture-- the full lips holding it there and inhaling-- the expression in her eyes as she holds the smoke in her lungs and feels the nicotine hitting her bloodstream. It's sexy as hell.

And I always thought the appeal was limited to the visual aspect of smoking, but I was on the phone with someone I'm undeniably attracted to, and I could hear him smoking as he talked to me. I could visualize him smoking, through the pattern of speech and intake of breath, and I'll be damned if I didn't get turned on.

I don't find all smokers attractive or sexy, though. Just the ones that I dig, personally. I think maybe it's an unconditional love/lust thing, because it's a trait that I don't find attractive in any rational way. But when I really like someone, even the things that would be unsavory in anyone else become an idealized part of my adoration.

Before I started smoking I used to think it was sexy, and got turned on by cigarette porn (this is pre sex teens) after i drifted into addiction to nicotine through spliffs (we english use tobacco in joints) I was nutral and didn't care one way or another, Since I've given up the stink is very unatractive and the sight of somone smoking actually make me feel sometimes revulsion, sometimes pity/sorrow

I was five. It was horrible. Sometimes I wonder if instead of just educating kids, parents should hand a cigarette to their kids when they're little and show them why cigaretts are bad.
