But that's okay because in a few weeks it's going in the trash. Or wherever defective, piece of crap, FUCKING Tvs go! I'm tempted to just grab a shovel and bash it to pieces.

We need to make that six hour round trip down to Ramstein probably just to get a new one. All because our lovely Goldstar multi-system, dual voltage TV likes to crap out every two years like clockwork. So we're tired of shelling out money to fix it. Better just to buy a new one. It's always the same part too. The company knows about the problem, but since it was way past the warranty the first time it happened, they won't/can't help.

No more Goldstar for us, damnit!

Yeah, Goldstar.. The bottom end of consumer electronics.. Don't go there.

I bought a 19" Hitachi dual voltage PAL/NTSC/SECAM TV from the Ramstein BX back in 1981. Still runs like a champ. I can't kill the damn thing.

Stay away from JVC's too! I've had 2 of those (and a JVC DVD player) die on me in under 3 years.

Gotta love the dual voltage electronics. You never know if you might need it again.

What TV? I havent had mine here in over a month. Its wierd going home or to a hotel and watching it again, its like a mythical thing now...

I only buy Sony electronics. I would love to get a 32 inch flat screen Hi Def, but It wont happen for a while!

Shhhh. Don't say that. My husband might see that. Someday. LOL I keep telling him we don't need a big screen TV. Besides, it won't fit in the car.

Once you go big screen there's no turning back.. I get a hard-on every time I walk into Best Buy and look at that Sony 57" Wide-screen HDTV... Maybe in November I'll convice myself that it's worth it.

I dont like the projection screens, the ones you cant see at close angles but now the PLASMA screens
WHOA

Yeah, well.. The plasma model I really want is $15,000 and I'm not even going there. The newer HDTV projection units are pretty decent though. They aren't like the old ones where you could only see the pic from right in front.

Best Buy. Yeah, there's a really good case for staying here. LOL That place is addictive.

I have a tv in storage you can have..

Mr Freaky bought while he lived in Germany. I can't figure out how to use the damn thing.. so I won't allow it in my house ;)

Honestly.. I have no idea. LOL

I can't read the symbols on the remote. I have no idea how to turn it on.. how to change the channels. Nothing.

I called Mr Freaky about it.. he says he is saving it for Kimbers room. She is nagging us for a tv in her room. He figures she will have to work at it to watch it.

He's cruel.
