I'm not afraid of mice OR spiders. At work, I always used to have to take care of the critters- kuz I was the only one who didn't scream. (I rather like mice as a matter of fact, and dont' much care for them being killed.)

Bees do scare me though- but only if they are *in* the house.

Bully for you !

Thats my point, mysogyny is almost a joke- the "He man woman hater's club' ha-ha-ha. But let a woman say that she hates men! That will upset the apple cart!

It's not ignorance, it's an informed opinion. The more I know about men in general, the more I hate men in general.

BUt this whole statement is an insult to all the fantastic guys out there who are being labelled because of a few assholes.

Just llike what happens to women by men who have been cheated on, screwed over again and again. All women are bitches blah blah

I suggest you start looking around a bit harder and see
the big picture. I feel really sorry that you feel the way you do.

I love men.

PS Nathon I can always give you some sexy eyebrows to wiggle at the nice ladies.

:D Where's my trusty eyebrow pencil?

As a man these are things I need in life on a daily basis in this order

Food
Beer
Sex
Silence
Sleep

Now stop wasting your time posting threads like this and do something useful like getting me a beer.

There has always been and probably always will be a double standard. Women do just as much to perpetuate that standard as men do. Saying that you hate all men for the crimes of a few is just as bad as men saying that all aggressive women are bitches or dykes. It is the same thing, no matter how you try to phrase your complaints. My advice is to deal with reality..and the Reality is nothing is going to change until people as a whole are ready to allow the change to occur.

On behalf of myself, I would apologize, but I don't think that's what you want.

Do I treat women different from men?

Yes.

I try to censor my speech around women.

I try to be polite and kind to women I don't know, even the drunk assholey ones, when men who are being drunken assholes I tend to tell to go fuck themselves.

I try to open doors for women.

Do I treat women as second class citizens?

No.

I don't think women are stupid. I actually think a lot of them are smarter than a lot of men. I think that women are special, because they are different from me. I try to honour their differences (Vive la difference!), and respect their needs. Do I tell them that they can't do a job because they're a girl? No. I know too many self-sufficent women to even think that way. I will help if asked for, and at times, even if it it not asked for, in the same way I would help a guy. If they're going to hurt themselves to prove they're tough, I try to avoid that.

I merely treat them differently. Maybe I am sexist. That's a part of me I can live with. It's the same part of me that defends women from idiots, that keeps drunken morons from molesting people and going to jail, and the part of me that beat the utter shit out of a rapist.

I am actually rather fond of that part of me.

But do women need to be defended? Are we all just victims or potential victims? Are men all hero's or villians? Is that our only option?

I like you- not becuase you claim to be 'different from other men' (don't they all say that?) but because you replied honestly. OUt of curiosity, do you support women in combat? Women as Priests?
What if your daughter wanted became a stripper? Would you be supportive of her no matter what?

When a woman asks you to do something, do you do it or do you need a reason first? This is a behavior that I observed one day. A small thing in male female interaction.

Do you have female friends that you don't want to sleep with?

Is being a 'hero' an important part of your self perseption? Do the women in your life play the role of victim for you to rescue and/or prize once you have fulfilled your hero role? Or do you see them as active in there own right? Just some things to think about, that we normally take for granted.

Can I join your club??-I am no" he man" and I love women. Most guys think I am sensitive and "different" but little do they know. I live in another time dimension it seems-light years ahead of the average American "he man". I have been hurt by many women but still they are beautiful and I can't get enough of them....A dilemma, hmm?:rose:

Is my only option to be oppressed or oppressor?

Women in combat? If they want to be there, go right ahead. If someone can shoot as well as the next person in line, I don't care if they use the can sitting or standing.

Women as Priests? I've had a woman priest (Not had in that way, silly.....get your mind out of the gutter), and she was good. I have nothing against women in positions of authority, either :p

*chuckles* If my daughter, assuming I ever have kids, became a stripper, the only thing I would ask is that she make sure I knew where she was working so I didn't get turned on by her.....then, if she lied, and I saw her working somewhere else, we'd have to have a talk (I respect honesty too much)

Female friends I don't want to sleep with.....Yup. Off the top of my head.....5. (I'm not a homophobe, so a honest answer to the other one would be....4 or 5....I don't actually have all that many friends nearby.)

I do it. I'm well trained :p (Mom loved me....the only thing I didn't do was clean my room.....too lazy.....besides....cleaning only encourages strains of cleaning-resistant mold. Once a month is fine)

Hero perception. No. I don't think of myself as a knight. If I have to label myself, I prefer to be a friend first, then a male.

Anyway.....my few cents.

I didn't say that I hate *all* men, I said I hate men. I dont hate all men for the crimes of the few, I hate what testosterone overdose seems to do to a person. I hate the traits that most men share. (Although they all claim to be the 'exception' of course)

You'll feel better in a few days after your period is gone.

(Me make an absurdly generalized and inflammatory remark?? Never!) :D

Ok, you pass!:)

I like the part about being a friend first.

But would you agree that there are a lot of men who think that woman were put here just for their pleasure and who think a woman's worth is measured by her usefulness to him as either a play-object or a domestic servant? Who only play at believing in equality? That even saying something like that will probably get me labled as a 'man-hater' anyway?

Question for all men: How would your life have been different is you had been born female?

Hell no, that's not man-bashing. That's not generalizing all of us to be those lazy fuck-tards. :p

(Yes, I damn well agree)

Answer to question : Not sure....I can't think like that. I can think of my life as a deer, but not as a female of the human species....

I don't think all that much would have changed, at least until uni.....however, I don't know past that......would I be a slut? I hope not......I probably would mastrubate more....:p

Ah yes, two wrongs don't make a right. But why is it always the *second* wrong and not the first wrong that gets most vigorously attacked? Could it have something to do with not upsetting the status quo?

For the sake of argument...

Women suck. Damnable estogen-laden, Oxygen-watching, is-my-ass-too-big whining, hypocritical, emotionally needy, manipulative, cock-teasing, money-stealing, self-serving bitches who even if they got everything they wanted they would *still* find something to complain about to their girlfriends.

You play up the gender roles whenever it suits you and then moan about inequity. You label men as the enemy and still persist in playing with their minds never realizing that you perpetuate the cycle. You always try to change someone into what you want them to be and when you don't get it, it's the man's fault for being insensitive. You gripe about rail-thin supermodels in magazines and still fret about your dress size or if your boobs are big enough. You force men into social settings solely for the purposes of showing him off because you have this deep-rooted desire for social acceptance, and having a mate remains a benchmark of success in that context.

You never break-up with your lover unless you have someone else to fall back on. You lie whenever you feel it's justified. You think that we should feel obligated to treat you with dignity and respect while at the same time you share all his secrets and personal quirks with your 20 - 30 "close friends". You stick your freezing bare feet against him in bed. You need "me" time whenever you please, but then wonder why he stays away when you're desperate for some emotional bonding.

Women deserve all the shit they get and then some because they're too stupid to realize how much of it is caused by their actions, inactions, and selfish nature. Women get periods because they deserve it. You can take your 50 pairs of high heels and shove them up your ass which is perpetually too big no matter what size it really is.

Fin. :)

(whew, I feel so cleansed now... like the catharsis achieved after watching Thelma & Louise)
