I'm a Sox fan, but I do have sympathy for Cubs fans. I mean, they are the most loyal fans, their hopes and pride tested year after year

Cubs fans are truly the most loyal fans. No doubt about that. Yet another reason I would love to be at Wrigley Field on the Cubs side, just once. Unless, of course, they are playing the Rangers.

Oddly, when I saw that clip, then viewed the comments, one thing stuck out in my mind. And it was not the askew 'C'. It was actually the helmet itself.

I am 44 and I can honestly say I do not know if the Cubs will ever win the World Series in my lifetime. I think Theo has them pointed in the right direction but I have had my hopes up during previous regimes. I will always root for them. They will always seemingly break my heart.


I'm just glad I am not a Bears fan.

As a Toronto Maple Leaf fan I can commiserate on the Cubs fans pain.

Much like if the Cubs ever won the Series, if the Leafers ever won Lord Stanley's Mug I think there would be an overflow of cardiac and stroke patients in the local hospitals.

Having said that, gotta give it up to both for the loyalty. No fair weather band wagon jumpers are Cubs and Leaf fans.
