I Don't Understand Why Randy Moss...

I can see why he retained his licence

He may get done in court and turn the allegend into a conviction, but he should be able to keep his licence until then.

But do you think that will happen?

If he gets done for pushing the traffic cop? Yes.

Otherwise he shouldnt lose it at all.

30 days, if they convict on that... all the others are non traffic misdemeaners.

I know its Randy Moss... but he is just another human being. I'd be suing if the police tried to take my license off me for the same thing he kept it for.

I seriously think he needs some therapy. I saw his comments to reporters when he was released the next day from jail. He was abusive in tone to a woman reporter. I think he has issues.

Yes, I do know about the judicial system here, Weevil, lol.

He can need therapy as much as the next man... last time I checked thats not jailable.

No, it's not. Neither do I think spending time in jail is going to keep him from doing something so boneheaded again.

His punishment is what he is doing to himself and his future. A fool and his money will soon be parted. I think the proper thing to do it take it away, put it in a trust and give him an allowance or else the taxpayers will eventually foot some of the bill...

As for his license, if I were his teammates, I'd hire a driver and some goons and put his ass in the car whenever he wanted to go somewhere. Deion Sanders would pitch in. His appeal to Randy on the NBC Sunday Pre-Game show was quite touching.

I was thinking the same thing about hiring a driver for him. I wouldn't figure he was doing much driving anyways.

Are you volunteering to help him get his finances in order?:D

His teammates should also consider shopping Lit for a gag, a muzzle, collar, leash, shackles, a traveling cage...

I think Moss needs to wise up and get his head out of his ass. I can't beleive he's STILL with the Vikings. I would have thought we would trade him after the stunt he pulled last season.

The Vikings are playing like a bunch of Junior High spoiled brats...it's hard to beleive we are paying them as professionals.

No. We're paying them like CEO's and entertainers and they expect to be held to the same standards :D !

Cris Carter had the best comment on Moss that I've seen: the guy has literally no respect at all for authority, never has, and never will. And that's not surprising: he's had it proven to him more than once that he's a good enough player that there'll always be somebody willing to put up with his crap. Get booted out of Notre Dame and Florida State? No problem, Marshall will let him play. Get passed over by 20 teams in the NFL draft because he's a potential troublemaker? No problem, the Vikings will let him play.

It's frightening to think what he'd be capable of if he had a work ethic to match his talent level.

Randy is an overpaid Prima Donna who only wishes he were half the Receiver Cris Carter was. He should only hope to be as good and have the longeivity of Cris Carter and Jerry Rice.

Randy is starting to show his true colors now when the chips are down and the Vikings are the doormat of the NFL.

What really hacks me off is that kids look up to guys like him and see how he is acting and getting away with things and then they think it's cool. My daughter has been a Randy Moss fan for as long as she has understood football, but I think she is re-thinking it now, she may only be 7 but she's intelligent and can figure out he's an idiot. The sooner the Vikings trade him the better or I may have to trade in my Purple Pride and find new team to root for.

They are not going to trade Randy, because he is their ONLY receiver. Culpepper is starting to show his true colors also.....but part of that is due to Randy's lack of continuous play (i.e. "quitting on plays" or "taking a down off")

Moss over-rated

Right on.

Moss won't go over the middle. Teams know it. He can be contained and is being contained.

Rice, the greatest by miles, and Carter, one of the best, make Moss look like the pud he is as a player....

If Moss had any ethic or balls, he would play hard every down and go across the middle. But it seems every time he starts to go across the middle, he just stops short (becuase he doesn't want to get "hit"). Wuss and whiner.........he ought to goto jail for a while and learn some respect for just how good he has it.

With the kind of money he makes and his lack of respect for the game he won't be changing his stripes any time soon...

Unless he is found with his hand in the cookie har and locked away for a long long time............though he does have enough money to buy his way out (or at least try to.........)

I used to think Moss was destined to be one of the greats.

Now I'm thinking it's because the defenses had to deal with Cris Carter at the same time.

Bud Grant must be thrilled to go hunting this weekend.
