Before I begin, let me warn anyone of a delicate disposition who might be reading this that this subject is not for the faint of heart.

As I understand it, 'planking' is some kind of new prank that consists of...

Are you ready for the EXTREME craziness?

Really sure you're ready?

Okay, 'planking' consists of people... laying down... IN PUBLIC!

To anybody who gets it, have I left out ANY of the excitement or ingenuity of this "prank?"

Could someone kindly explain to me why random people doing what homeless people have been doing for thousands of years is supposedly the most amazing thing ever?

You're not supposed to understand it. It has no point. That's the point.

It's just a meme. If the inet and cams had existed in 1920, then we'd be looking at Facebook pages full of goldfish swallowing and people crammed in phone booths.

You're a couple of months behind. This has been going on a while.
There have been deaths, taking planking to another level... 'lying down permanently'.

I think it's cool - natural selection at its finest!

So it's some kind of dadaist anti-prank?

It's just a fad. Apparently lying down is not required, just the face down, rigid position, hands at side.

The three best ones I've seen photos of:

3. From one overhead luggage compartment to another on a plane in flight. I expect he heard about that one, given the way they are about plane flights these days.

2. Launched off a swing, perfect plane about 5' off the ground.

1. And what is sure to be the Literotica winner, during what appeared to be anal sex with the girlfriend, who was also planking, supported by one hand and the cock in her ass.

If anyone can find a copy of that one and post it, I'd appreciate it. I saw it on someone else's smart phone. So phenomenally unlikely, just amazing.
