the music today is for shit, mainly because the radio today is for shit, too. there are no r&b stations anymore because no one is doing r&b. movies are for shit unless you're 12 and like superheros. art is for shit, overpriced and unoriginal and boring. there are a few interesting tv programs but you have to pay to watch them. and who the fuck wants to listen to music or watch a movie on an i-phone unless you're a really, really little person? get rid of autotune and make meghan thee cow wear some clothes and no one will be interested. i'm so glad i lived in the 60's. y'all are fucked.

I’ve lived in the 60s, 70s, 80s and through the 90s and the 2000s. Yes, with the exception of some musicians today (very few), music today is virtually unlistenable. My parents grew up during the Great Depression, so their taste in music has influenced mine to an extent, but IMHO, the best music ever made, outside of classical, was mid-to-late 60s, the 70s (just pretend Disco never happened) and even early 80s. After that——pretty much crap.

Buy a streaming service you cheap-ass bastards. :)
I have several! LOL! My Apple Music playlists rarely deviate from the sixties, seventies or early eighties with occasional side trips into classic country, classic R&B and singers/songwriters.

I get new music recommendations from my kids. There's good music, but radio has always been mostly popular shite.

I stopped listening to music on the radio after 1990 and on my own time, anything I'm listening to is from mid 60's to mid 80's. Throw in some classical when I need to sleep and some jazz when I want to unwind and that's about it.

Some of the Eastern Europe radio stations play some good stuff.
