is going to KILL health insurance corporations.

First, the basics.

What happens if you don't get health insurance under this plan?

You get slapped with a stupid tax penalty.

What happens after this? You still don't have health insurance.

What happens if you get sick? Can you go get insurance? YUP. The law says you can't be turned down for pre-existing conditions...

...and...

wait for it

it appears that the new law nixes rescissions.

Uh oh. Is this really true?

If so, wait until the public finds out. It's going to be a MASSACRE of health insurance companies. There's gonna be tons of people getting coverage after some shit happens, then going to the hospital in whatever few months they have to wait for coverage, and the insurance company's gonna get stuck with a monstrous bill.

After that, who knows, that customer may drop their coverage, wait until shit happens again, and go with a new company...

Tell me this isn't how the law works out, because if it does...............

That's not how it works out. Paying the annual tax penalty and being uninsured until you're sick is a bad idea. Insurance companies still have a 30-day window from the time they process your application to the time they have to provide coverage. So a guy that goes without coverage and gets into a severe car accident is still on the hook to pay out-of-pocket for his first month of emergency services, intensive care, surgery, medical equipment, pain medications, nursing services, and physical/occupational therapy. Then after all that when it's tax season that guy gets slapped with the extra penalty.

Jen/Ken?Wen,

Your daughters, if you let them live, can only hope to have my lifestyle.

You need to kill yourself in front of them so they may rejoice in what may be their future.

Do it. You will never have a son. Sons are only gifted on the good.

again, how sad. clear signs of desperation. while you are on welfare, maybe you can seek out some mental help?

That's for auto accidents. What about other things that you can wait to see a doctor about?

As for the tax penalty, isn't there a thing in the law that says the IRS can't throw you in jail or slap a lien on you for not paying the penalty?
