but I kind of miss those phantom views that appeared while waiting for a new story to post. At least it seemed like something was happening. Now, with all those fields of zeros, it feels like the cue is longer and it's not moving. Does anyone have an accurate estimate of the current waiting time?

Eight days.

(No, not really but you'll feel so much happier when it posts before 8 ;) )

My experience has been five days for the last four months--I regularly submit something every two weeks (which reminds me).

We were at 5 days for the last several weeks. Looks like 6 right now.

Thats one of the main reasons I submit stories in the contest. Don't really expect to win but you can't beat the quick submission time.

Ditto. Fast submission, and continuous exposure. For 10 years I basically ignored the contests. Big mistake. Since then I've hit about 25%, but I'm trying hard to hit all of them this year.

Every year I plan to enter one or more, but I can never get my production schedule in sync with the contest schedule

I submit a chapter every week and it takes 5-6 days on avg. Some days there's barely a page of new stories and other days there's a page and a half. No idea how it all gets sorted out, but a little less than a week for posting after submission.

Five days was the correct answer. The number of phantom views is zero. All is right in the (Literotica) world.
