Found out that the bastardex is about to lose his house, and has had to sell his car etc. to pay the mortgage.
So today I contacted the Child Support Agency and cancelled the collection of child support.
Suggested to bastardex he use some of the money he will save to keep credit on his cellphone and call the kidley bean.
His response?
"I have been calling the kidlet, and have sent several messages, which he hasen't responded to."

Being me, I go grab the kidley bean's phone and check.....
And the last message from his dad was in October.

Because if I didn't have the gov't collecting his child support directly from his pay, he'd have enough to cover the mortgage.

That was the first thing my daughter said to me when she told me the other night that her dad had to sell his car to make back payments.... and that's apparently why he hasn't visited them either.

What's loving about the father of my kids telling them two days before Xmas the reason he hasn't been to see them in more than 5 months, and the reason he won't be doing gifts for Christmas, is because the child support debt is strangling him to the point where he's had to sell the car to pay the mortgage?

Having paid child support in full, I can safely say it sounds like hubby over-extended. I bought the house after the ex was paid off.
